Glamping Terms and Conditions

Any future amendments to these terms and conditions will override this document and guests may not be notified of changes.

Booking policy

We reserve the right to refuse any bookings. Full payment is required within 48 hours of making a booking. Dates cannot be held if full payment has not been received within this time. Booking confirmation will be sent upon receipt of full payment. Guests are encouraged to check their booking confirmation carefully and notify Glamping at Honnington Farm of any incorrect or incomplete information immediately.

We warmly welcome families, family and/or friend’s get-togethers, couples and groups who are looking for a relaxing experience in the countryside. Whilst music is allowed on-site, it must be kept to a reasonable level not to disturb farm residents and turned off by 10:30pm. For large groups of any kind, either two or all four pods much be booked to avoid disturbance to other guests (our pods are situated in pairs). There may be surcharges that apply to large group bookings (please enquire).

Only guests who have booked and paid for are allowed on-site. Day visitors are only permitted with prior agreement from the owners.

 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made up to 12 weeks prior to your arrival date will receive a full refund of the booking fee paid.

Cancellations made between 12 weeks and 28 days prior to your arrival date will receive a 70% refund of the booking fee paid.

Cancellations made between 28 days and 7 days of your arrival date will receive a 30% refund of the total booking fee paid.

Cancellations within 7 days of arrival and “no shows” will be refunded 0% of the booking fee paid.

We strongly advise you take out appropriate travel insurance.

 

Covid-19 cancellation policy update

If bookings are unable to go ahead when originally planned due to restrictions imposed by the government due to Covid-19, in either the location of Glamping at Honnington Farm or the guest’s home address, a change of date will be offered. Cancellations for any other reason, including forced isolation, will follow the cancellation policy above. In the circumstance that a guest is forced to isolate, bookings can be rescheduled free of charge, however we appreciate notification of this ASAP with attached evidence you, or a party member, have been asked to isolate by the government.

 

Force Majeure                                         

Glamping at Honnington Farm are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they, Glamping at Honnington Farm, are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, natural disasters, health risks including pandemics, or any other similar events. It is recommended you have adequate travel insurance in place to cover this.

 

Arrival and departure

Arrival is from 4pm. Please notify us of an estimated arrival time at least one week before your stay. If travel delays occur, guests should notify us on their new expected arrival time as soon as possible. Guests are asked to notify us by call or text message (074552 12321) 30 minutes prior to arrival – this gives us time to make our way to the farm entrance to welcome guests.

Departure is strictly by 11:00am. The main pod door must be closed, and the key left in the door.

 

Care for the accommodation

Your accommodation will be prepared for your arrival. Bed linen and towels are provided for the number of guests booked in and these must remain inside your accommodation at all times. Glamping at Honnington Farm expects everything to be left in a manner in which you found it/them. All items, including furnishings, furniture and equipment (including cutlery, crockery, utensils etc.) must be returned to their original place by the time of departure. All waste and recycling must be placed in the correct bins provided.

Any accidents on the premises must be reported to the owners immediately.

The named person(s) booking the accommodation will be responsible for and agrees to reimburse Glamping at Honnington Farm for any costs incurred by the owners as a result of any breakages or damage to the property caused by themselves or any other member of their party, or loss or damage to any part of the Glamping at Honnington Farm premises, to include fixtures, fittings and equipment.

 

Occupancy

The number of guests staying in a pod must at no time exceed the number stated and agreed in the booking. The accommodation must not be sub-let.

 

Conduct

The named person(s) booking the accommodation is responsible for the behaviour and actions of all their party members. There is a strict curfew on-site that applies from 10:30pm – 8:00am. During this time no music, parties or gatherings can take place on-site and noise must be kept to a minimum to respect our farm residents. Guests may be asked to leave the premises at the discretion of the owners if their behaviour is, or seen to be, anti-social, threatening or aggressive to other guests, farm residents or owners and full cooperation is expected should these circumstances arise.

Private property and no entry signs must be adhered to by guests at all times. The lake is privately owned and strictly out of bounds. Any guests found trespassing will be asked to leave the premises, along with the rest of their group, and no refund will be given.

Guests must not feed or touch the horses or birds of prey on-site.

 

Vehicles

One free designated parking space is set aside for each glamping pod. Only one vehicle is permitted per pod. Prior permission must be sort for vehicles in excess of one per pod and these may incur additional costs per vehicle, per night.

For the safety of the guest(s), farm residents, staff and wildlife speed limits must be observed and adhered to at all times on-site.

 

Dog policy

We understand that furry friends don’t want to be left behind, so we welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes. Please note that a surcharge of £10 per dog, per stay is required.

Dogs are strictly forbidden on the beds and sofa beds. Guests must bring their own dog beds. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times around the pods and farm-yard areas due to other animals living close by and heavy machinery in regular use. Dogs must not be allowed to intrude on other guests as not everyone likes dogs.

Guests must always clear up any dog poop and discard into the bin provided.

 

Litter policy

Guests must do their utmost to keep Honnington Farm safe, clean and pleasant for other guests, farm residents, staff and wildlife. Rubbish and recycling must be placed into the correct bins provided and not left on the ground. This includes around the pods, the games room, farm-yard areas and all fields.

 

Smoking and Fire policy

Smoking inside the pods and games tent is strictly prohibited. You may smoke outside your pods, ensuring the pod door is shut before doing so. Cigarette butts must be placed in the covered ash pots provided with each pod and once full emptied into the landfill bin. Cigarettes must not be dropped anywhere on the farm estate as they can be harmful to wildlife and risk sparking wildfires.

Chimineas are provided with each pod and guests should act responsibly around them including the constant supervision of children as they are hot to touch when lit. Only responsible adults should attend the Chimineas. Guests must not under any circumstances start fires elsewhere on the farm estate and portable BBQs are prohibited anywhere on-site.

When finished using the Chiminea it should be put out completely. The owners will empty Chimineas when guests have departed. Should guests wish to have their Chiminea emptied during their stay, the owners must be contacted to do this on behalf of the guest.

 

Personal belongings

Glamping at Honnington Farm are not responsible for the damage or loss of any personal property brought onsite or in guest’s vehicles. It is the responsibility of the guest to check for all personal belongings before departure. Any items found after guests have departed can be collected or posted to the guest at their own expense paid in advance (an additional £20 to the postage cost must be paid to cover our time and inconvenience caused). It is the responsibility of the guest to select a suitable carrier and appropriate insurance for their item(s).

 

Prohibited items

The following items must not be brought onto Honnington Farm: guns, archery items, axes, saws, fishing equipment, illegal drugs of any kind, drones, fireworks and sky lanterns.

 

Special requests

If you have any special requests (e.g. pod location) please let us know at time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate these requests but unfortunately cannot guarantee that they will be met.

 

Complaints

Please notify the owners as soon as possible if you have any complaint during your stay. If this procedure is not followed, there is less opportunity for Glamping at Honnington Farm to investigate and resolve such complaint and so make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

 

Risks

Honnington Farm is a working farm with many people, vehicles and heavy machinery moving around parts of the site on a daily basis. We encourage guests to enjoy all the outdoor space and woodland the site has to offer however care must be taken as footpaths and tracks may be uneven. Guests should always remain aware of these risks and children must be supervised at all times. We do not accept any liability for damage to any member of your party or any of your possessions while on our premises.

Failure to comply with any of these terms may result in your stay being terminated without refund. Your booking is acceptance of these conditions.
